When you visit peoples houses do you notice how different people live? People follow different trends. Some people like to spend their indoor-outdoor living time in the morning to catch the morning sun, some prefer the afternoon, so they have their home arranged quite differently. Some enjoy the morning sun with a cup of tea and prefer to be indoors at the end of the day as they tire and just want to feel warm and safe inside.

It is all related to how we live in our home, and how we prefer to decorate it. The point being, we just want to inspire you with new ideas and trends to enhance the environment and then leave it up to you to decide what would work better for you. There is no such thing as a perfect home, the goal is to make the house cozy, comforting and personal for you.

So, in this post I have tried to round up the big home décor trends of 2021 which focus on comfort but also on maximization, vintage décor and also earthly colors, so, let’s get to it.

1; Granny style or grand millennial.

Everyone is going big on comfort this year, since everyone is spending more time at home because of the pandemic and since we’re talking about comfort grandparents come to our minds first don’t, they?

So, starting with a big comfortable sofa with preferably a very soft fabric, floral patterns on the walls as well as the carpet and paintings etcetera (don’t go all out with it though) and obviously antique décor is a must! which is sustainable subtle yet captivating. How can we skip pastel colors? Pastels are comforting to the eye and also creates a perfect proportion with these elements.

2; Earthy grounded shades.

According to the color forecasts and brands announcing colors of the year, we’ve gathered that earthy shades are and will be in trend the palette consists of rust, warm greens, light browns, yellows, greys and blues. All of these shades with a hint of vibrant pop color that adds balance to the house. The unexpected color bombs infuse your home with a unique personality.

3; Wall designs or Wall coverings.

No more plain walls! the idea is to add texture and depth to the house to make it look captivating, you can add anything from wallpapers, wall murals to tropical wall coverings, plastered walls and large rugs on the walls, whatever suits you.

4; Cottage core aesthetic.

This aesthetic is basically centered on minimalism, harmony and nature. Let’s just say this reminds us of the countryside with a tad bit of glamour to create an elegant vintage style. This would include amber tones with mix muted colors, natural textures lots of greenery, plants and meadow prints.

5; Graphic art.

This is something you get to see everywhere these days, on earrings on tee-shirts, mugs where not? We admit this maybe a short-lived trend but people are going all out for it. On the brighter sider people are paying more attention to how art can tie a room together. Add a graphic art wall mural or a painting or even a carpet it makes any space look cool.
